Great Things From Pinterest!!

Ok, so I found these GREAT brownies on pinterest. That being said they must be great cause I am not a huge fan of brownies. I was told that they are like the BYU brownies. So give them a try. Weekly Highlights

Ok so this is coming to you a day late and I never did get to Friday's, but what can I say I am a work in progress.

So here are a few of our happings this past week.

Chris- Well he worked and we love him very much for it!! He also helped me or shall I say I helped him clean part of my parents basement. He is the absolute best guy ever!!!

Amy- I drove in MY car. Still cant get over that. We went to the library, my parents house, and some other errands throughout the week. I also tried to make Apple Cider Stew. Not my favorite.

Cole- Now he is the champ for the week. Not only does he show so much love to his brother every day and gets smarter each day he also had to go through some changes. After waking up one morning and throwing a HUGE fit I decided that there needed to be more structure in his life. So he was put on a schedule. I also thought he was watching too much tv and playing too much computer. So I gave him time in his day for that, but decided that he needed to earn extra time if he wanted it. So he now has chores to do every day. He also slept for the first time in his BIG BOY BED!! And now drum roll please.... He is going pee pee in the potty and wearing BIG BOY PANTS!!! Way to go Cole!!!

Ira- Still a cute kid. He is having some problems right now sleeping through the night. I think this is because he is going through a growth spurt.

Oh wow!! I think it may be time to revamp this thing.

Ok so some minor things to just get out there. I had my baby boy Ira last Oct. he is almost four months old now. The last 2 months of my pregnancy I was on bed rest. And Chris and I are planning on cleaning out my parents basement and moving in there by the end of the summer to help them out with a few things for a year. Oh and we now have a second car. A 2005 Honda.

 Ok, like I said in the title of this I think it is time to revamp this. Maybe that will get me posting just a bit more than I have. I decided that I will try to post something 3 times a week. On Sundays I will post an update on the family. Wednesday I will try to post some great new idea I have found on Pintrest (have become addicted to that lately). And on Friday I will try to do something. I don't know what yet but I will try something. I am hoping this will keep us all updated and have some fun with this. So this is me signing off for the day. I will hopefully be back tomorrow with something.

A Family Outing

Last Saturday Chis and I decided to take a little family outing and go to downtown Naperville to just walk around. However when we got there we discovered that it was Civil War Days at Napersettlement. So we decided to go. While we were there we got to meet President Lincoln.

 

While we were there we decided to visit the petting zoo that they had there. Cole was having some fun until the animals knocked him down.

 All and all we had a great day as a family.

Things are looking up

First of all I am so sorry that I have posted a thing for a while now. The reason for this is because I have been sick for the past few months now. Yes, I know that is a long time to be sick, but I have a good reason. I am now 13 weeks pregnant!!! I feel so blessed to not only bring another spirit into this world, but I also feel blessed that I am feeling better now. last time it took me 20 weeks to stop throwing up. This time I feel great by 13 weeks. That means I have gained an extra 2 months of feeling great. Lets compare a few more things. last time I was in the ER I would say at least 15 times if not more. This time it was only 2 times. Last time I was admitted 3 times. This time not at all. Yep, things are most definitely looking up.
